Allow your customers to make high definition calls to more destinations, increasing customer satisfaction and creating a superior calling experience. HD Voice enhances the customer experience in saturated markets can be a key factor in lowering and controlling churn rates.
Allow users to exchange Instant Messages between provider networks, freeing them from the shackles of instant messaging islands and allow for rich realtime communications between networks. Because this instant messaging would be based upon a users phone number as the primary identity it allows for easy and seamless inter-organization realtime messaging.
Countless studies have shown that the large majority of communication is nonverbal. SIP Peering allows for video calls to be seamlessly established between parties removing traditional barriers.
The establishment of a direct calling path between peering exchange members provides an additional path for call termination, increasing network resiliency and decreasing downtime.
The goal of this initiative is to spark the creation of a settlement free carrier neutral not-for-profit voice over IP (VoIP) peering exchange similar to the TORIX data exchange to enable delivery of enhanced voice and video services between participating providers. This exchange would allow for the termination of calls from one provider to another directly using SIP signaling and as a result allow for the establishment of high definition voice, video, and messaging sessions between providers – and more importantly – their customers. The goal of this site is to be a starting point for discussion between interested parties.
